🤝🏼 Fun fact: I actually grew an inch thanks to Pilates, maybe it’s the planks, maybe it’s just mastering my form and holding myself better. Either way, what have you got to lose?

Planks do more than work your abs. They build real strength, sharpen your posture, protect your back, and teach you to hold yourself a little taller.

Go for 10–12 reps of each exercise and make sure you hit both sides. Save this for the days you want to feel strong without overthinking it. Try it and tell me how you feel.

Any other teachers do a whole class plan and then you ask for injuries, we have 1 torn ligament, 2 broken elbows and a pregnant person, so turns out your plan is out the window 🙂‍↔️

I will often have an idea of one main move I want to flow to but that’s generally all. I see the bodies in front of me and work of what we have got 🤝🏼

If I had the chance to sit with myself a year ago
The girl who had just left her 9 to 5, unsure if any of this would work out
Who was scared but still showed up with hope and heart
I’d hold her hand and say
Look what you built
You created something real
Women are gathering, healing, and growing through something that started as a spark of an idea

And the most beautiful part

The general vibe this week has felt a little low. Slower energy, softer moods, but people have still been showing up, and that speaks volumes.

Showing up is the consistency.

And sometimes, consistency looks like turning the volume down instead of pushing harder.

In classes this week, we’ve gone softer with the movement, more chilled with the playlists, and it’s reminded me: your practice doesn’t always have to be powerful to be purposeful.

There is so much strength in just being there. 🖤
